Detailed Trail Description

The North Natomas Loop features well-connected trails that conveniently serve the Sacramento’s North Natomas Community and the Sleep train Arena, which is home to the famous NBA Sacramento Kings.

The loop trail has eight designated access points at its south end. It is flat, up to six feet wide and is easily navigable for inexperienced riders. You will cruise through the smooth, paved asphalt. The North Natoma regional Park is the center of the trail network. It has ball fields and magnificent open space. We recommend bringing family and friends for a picnicking session or fun time at the park after the ride. You could also try fishing at the pond in the park. If you have a dog at home, be sure to bring them to the park for a fantastic time, though you have to ensure they are on a leash the entire time.

The bike and pedestrian paths run along its edge, allowing riders and other trail users a scenic experience. The trail outside the park does not have designated crosswalks, so you have to be extra cautious at the intersections.

On average speed, you can complete the trail in 43 minutes. Moreover, the path is pretty straightforward, with zero chance of getting lost. It is also adequately shaded, offering a comfortable experience on hot days.
