Rider Feedback: A Mixed Bag

Chicopee Woods boasts a blend of terrains. The Copperhead Gap, despite being the most challenging, is often dubbed intermediate by many. It features a notably steep rock slate climb post a bridge. The White Tail or Outer Loop is the park’s longest route and is known for its flow, peppered with rocks and roots. Meanwhile, the Flying Squirrel trail is praised for its flow and maintenance. While many local riders have an affinity for Chicopee Woods, deeming it a solid intermediate trail, some visitors found it less appealing. Critiques pointed to super winding paths, unclear trail markings, and the audible freeway noise. However, positive remarks laud the park's terrain versatility and its proximity to Metro Atlanta. One sentiment echoed among many is the park’s convenience and variety.

Maintenance & Contributions

Trail upkeep is made possible through visitor donations. If satisfied with your experience, consider leaving a donation at the trailhead to fund ongoing maintenance.
