From Black River Falls, move north on hwy 12/27 for approximately 10 miles till you reach Merrillan. Taking a right onto hwy 95, travel another 7 or 8 miles to meet Fisher rd. Proceeding left, or northwards, drive for about a mile. The trail center awaits on the left, marked by a distinctive brown sign. This path begins and culminates close to where Yellow Jacket and Upper Hermosa intersect.
