Expect to be scheduled for some weekend and holiday hours.

It helps if you know how to ride a bike though it’s not required!

Position Descriptions

Customer Service Assistant  Our customer service staffers take reservations, give directions, hand out equipment and perform a variety of other administrative and maintenance tasks. We are looking for friendly, outgoing, team-oriented individuals.  This position is ideal for a students seeking a fun summer job. No experience working with bicycles is necessary. Ideal availability is Tuesday through Saturday for 30 to 40 hours per week. Rate is hourly plus tips.

Bike Mechanic  Are you a bicycle mechanic who likes working with people too? We are hiring mechanics to build and maintain a safe, high-quality fleet of rental bicycles and to provide top-notch customer service. Candidates should be able to perform basic maintenance and some major repairs, be organized, responsible and strong team-players. No positions are currently available.

Tour Guide  Our tour guides lead customers on bikes throughout Washington, DC and present an entertaining and informative narrative. No experience as a guide is necessary! We are looking for well-spoken, outgoing, individuals. At this time all guide positions are filled however we do review applications year-round. Rate is hourly plus tips.

Bookkeeper  Part-time accounts payables bookkeeper. Candidates should be organized, responsible and detail-oriented. Approximately 10 hours per week with flexible schedule.
