Bike and Roll offers the most entertaining and informative bike tours and Segway tours of Washington DC. We are also the only official bike tour of the National Cherry Blossom Festival! Learn about the sites, history and stories behind the National Mall and surrounding area! There is no better way to get up close and personal with all the great sites that Washington, DC and Alexandria, VA have to offer than from the seat of a bike or a Segway. Come and explore with us!

  • Bicycle tours are conducted on our Trek comfort hybrid bikes (sorry no tandems on tours)
  • Daily guided bike and Segway tours are offered from mid-March to mid-December
  • Reservations are recommended but walk-ups are always welcome!
    (we recommend checking availability before arriving)
  • Tour groups are limited to a maximum of 15 riders to ensure a safe and personal experience
  • Private tours and group tours are available with advance notice

Bike to Mount Vernon with this self-guided two-way ride on the Mount Vernon Trail. This scenic trail takes riders through Dyke Marsh and Belle View Park. The canopy coverage and banks of the Potomac provide seclusion and a beautiful transition back in time to an early America, making the ride a wonderful way to approach the timeless feel of the Mt. Vernon Estates. Price includes full day comfort hybrid bike rental and estate admission. Discounts do not apply.
“We rented bikes from Bike and Roll Alexandria and rode down to Mt Vernon. My 9 and 11 year old had no problem with the 20 mile ride. There are many water fountains along the way. The bikes were well maintained and the staff friendly. It was a magnificent family day activity.”
